Charde Houston was recently named the a 2009 All-Star in the highly competitive Israeli league by Safsal, an Israeli wesbite covering women’s basketball. Charde, entering her second season with the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA, has exploded since entering the professional ranks and is primed for a great follow-up season in her second WNBA campaign. Her multifaceted game and competitive spirit will continue to serve her well. The league coaches thought enough of Charde to name her their league MVP.

Vanessa Hayden Joins
the LA Sparks
After spending her entire career in Minnesota, Vanessa Hayden was traded to the LA Sparks and will look to shore up the middle for one of the WNBA’s top frontlines. Vanessa is currently playing in Italy and is in the best shape of her career and looking forward to a breakout season for the Sparks.

Margo Dydek gave birth to her first child, David, last spring. Congratulations to Margo. She bounced back in time to join the LA Sparks for their play-off run. She is currently getting back into the form that has made the the WNBA’s all time block shot leader and is exploring her options in the league for the 2009 season.

Alex Tchangoue Inks
with TTM Management
Alex Tchangoue, an explosive shooting guard from Wake Forest University, has signed a world-wide representation agreement with the TTM team. Alex, a French citizen, averaged over 13 points and nearly 8 rebounds in the always tough ACC. Her ability to play and defend multiple positions and her uncanny knack for rebounding in traffic promise to make her a stellar professional for years to come.
